White House launches Drudge-style website with creepy propaganda video
Watch this bonkers new propaganda video from the White House, and other news from the weekend.
Happy Sunday evening! Let’s dive into the news.
Note: This is a long email, with lots of goodies. If it cuts off at the end, go to the main article to read it.
White House launches Drudge-style website with creepy propaganda video
The White House has created a Drudge-style website designed to praise Donald and promote the administration's policies.
The site has news stories all over the page, and most of them link to other websites, like Drudge does. For example, one article at the top is titled, "A trucker who couldn't speak English k**led my husband. Trump is right to ban them."
Also, be sure to click that red bar scrolling across the top that says, "LO-FI MAGA VIDEO TO RELAX/STUDY TO." It leads to another page on the site, which features a Simpsons-esque animation style video that blends animation propaganda and political meme culture.
Trump is testing the boundaries of the Separation of Church and State
I am not 100% sure what is happening in this photo, but in the Facebook group where I found it, people suggested that he was bowing to Trump. Maybe he’s just praying.
At this event, Trump basically denounced the separation between church and state.
“They said, really there’s separation. I don’t know. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? I’m not sure, but whether there’s separation or not, you guys are in the White House where you should be, and you’re representing our country, and we’re bringing religion back to our country, and it’s a big deal.”

Trump disrespects Pope Francis and Catholics worldwide
As Catholics (and others) worldwide mourn one of the most beloved Popes in history, Donald took to TruthSocial to share an AI-generated image of himself dressed as the Pope.
The war on fluoride
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is investigating toothpaste makers Crest and Colgate for misleading marketing practices related to fluoride and safety concerns.
The investigation follows a National Toxicology Program study suggesting a correlation between fluoride exposure and lower IQ in children, which has faced criticism for its methodology.
Colgate's marketing of toothpaste has been labeled misleading and dangerous by Paxton, who aims to protect children from potential fluoride overexposure.
Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. supports the investigation and plans to alter federal fluoride regulations, citing potential negative impacts on intelligence due to high fluoride exposure.
Personal note from Tiff: This is my ignorant attorney general. AND…he is mounting a bid to replace Sen. John Cornyn as a senator from Texas.
Stephen Miller tapped to replace Mike Waltz as Trump’s National Security Adviser
Well, this isn’t scary at all, is it?
Stephen Miller, President Trump's top policy adviser, is in the running to be his next national security adviser and has for nearly a decade been wearing many hats for the president.
The big picture: The deputy chief of staff has already been shaping policy, particularly — and controversially — on immigration, from inside the White House and is one of Trump's longest-serving and most-trusted aides.

Trump seems to confuse Harlem with Harvard in weird rant
Donald Trump has hilariously and stunningly somehow conflated Harvard and Harlem in this bonkers interview with Stephen A. Smith on NewsNation.
Stephen A. asked about Donald's fight with Harvard, and Donald went on a crazy rant about how he got a "very high Black vote" and the riots in Harlem (when?). Note: There is zero evidence that people in Harlem went to Harvard to protest. It’s absurd.
🚨 House Judiciary Republicans Just Voted to Allow Trump to Deport U.S. Citizens
On Wednesday afternoon, Rep. Eric Swalwell stepped out of a meeting of the House Judiciary Committee and went live on Instagram. He had an urgent message for all of us:
Rep. Eric Swalwell did an Instagram Live to report that he had stepped out of a meeting of the House Judiciary Committee. Every single Republican apparently just voted to allow Trump to deport AMERICAN CITIZENS.
Migrants at Texas ICE detention facility spell out SOS for drones
Reuters recently flew a drone over the Bluebonnet Detention Facility in Anson, Texas, after Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) barred reporters from accessing the site. What they captured is something out of a dystopian novel: 31 detainees, held in the facility, arranged their bodies in the courtyard to form three letters, plain and urgent—SOS.
